Leadership

Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) is led by a passionate group of people dedicated to growing the sport and relationships within it.

Flint Lane

Flint Lane
CEO & Founder

MLTT was founded by software entrepreneur and table tennis fanatic Flint Lane. Flint has played table tennis since he was a kid but really caught the bug when his wife Kathy surprised him with a birthday gift of table tennis lessons with three time Olympian David Zhuang. After losing 11-0, 11-0 (and it really wasn’t even that close), Flint took up the sport seriously and is now solidly mediocre.

Flint is focused on helping at-risk youth including serving on the board of Boys and Girls Club of Collier County and as a volunteer Big Brother for almost two decades with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Anthony Vigorito

Anthony Vigorito
Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining MLTT, Anthony spent his entire thirty year career as a consultant and financial executive supporting high growth, fintech and SaaS companies backed by venture capital and private equity firms.

Beyond his professional life, Anthony splits his time between NJ and FL with his wife and three children and now follows the sports teams he funds with tuition payments, the University of Tennessee and University of Central Florida.

Jordan Schlachter

Jordan Schlachter
Chief Business Officer

Jordan is a seasoned sports executive with a stellar track record. He oversees all commercial and marketing activities, including partnership sales, brand strategy, licensing, media partnerships, ticketing, and fan engagement initiatives. He drives MLTT’s business development efforts and seeks to expand its presence in the U.S. and internationally.

He joined MLTT with more than three decades of experience in the sports industry. Most recently, he served as the Chief Business Officer for the XFL, where he oversaw business partnerships, sponsorship revenue and relationships, licensing, merchandising distribution, and media partner business and sales. Jordan came to the XFL after four years at the National Basketball Players Association where he held various leadership roles, including founder and President of THINK 450, the for-profit subsidiary of the NBPA, and the first-ever Chief Marketing Officer of the NBPA. During his tenure, he rebranded the union, and built the intellectual property base to monetize upon the formation of THINK 450.

Prior to the NBPA, Schlachter held senior executive positions with Viacom, the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), the National Basketball Association (NBA) and others.

Mimi Bosika

Mimi Bosika
Vice President, Competition

As a young player who was born in Serbia, Mimi trained under her father Jon Bosika who famously coached Olympic medalist Ilia Lupulesku and the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team. After moving to the United States when she was 11, Mimi lived at the US Olympic Table Tennis Center in Michigan where she trained with players from all over the world. She also spent her summers as a teen training at the Romanian Olympic Training Center.

Mimi is a 2-time US Open Junior Champion and US Open Youth silver medalist. After completing her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, she co-founded three wellness companies that focus on muscle health with her business partner and former table tennis champion Eric Owens.

In addition to working with MLTT, Mimi regularly organizes corporate table tennis events, state-level tournaments, clinics with her father and international trips for American players. Mimi also recently became a mom and is on a mission to prove that female athletes are built differently and believe they can do it all — have great careers and family life.

Max Thompson

Max Thompson
Vice President, Marketing

Routinely knocked out in the first round of any table tennis tournament he’s ever been a part of, Max comes to MLTT with a great respect for the best athletes’ mastery of the game.

A childhood full of sports turned into a career in sports, from early days as a reporter and editor, to a decade now building up digital, marketing and ecommerce operations in the space.

As much fun as sports is, a life in it demands a passion project out of it. Max’s is partnering with non-profit organizations focused on conservation and protection of public lands.

Whether giving back to nature or building a new, exciting sports league — there’s just something about pushing a rock up a hill. The work is never really done, but you can’t beat the views.

Ed Hogshead

Ed Hogshead
Vice President, Logistics

Ed Hogshead has been a part of the table tennis world for over 50 years, and crossed paths with just about everyone involved in the sport around the country — and beyond.

He got hooked on the game when his family bought a table for Christmas in 1968. He played on the U.S. Army team after joining the service in 1974 and competed in semi-professional leagues in Germany from 1977-79.

Hogshead, president of the Rockford Table Tennis Club for more than two decades, has donated robots and tables to youth clubs in towns across America. He also was an official at the 1996 Olympics, and has served as a tournament director of the Olympic Trials, the U.S. Open finals, and the U.S. team trials. He served as a board member of the U.S. Table Tennis Association, which is the National Governing Body for table tennis within the Olympic Committee.  Hogshead’s credentials include International Umpire, National Referee, and Certified Tournament Director.

He is the current Illinois state table tennis champion in the over 55 year-old category.  Hogshead has won several national singles, doubles, and team championships.  He considers his time as a coach and mentor for disadvantaged youth his biggest accomplishment.

Now, he heads up the logistics team for MLTT, traversing the nation to scout locations, move equipment, and set up every event that involves the league. On game days, he serves as the referee working alongside our umpires.
