Philadelphia to host 2025 MLTT Championship Weekend

PRINCETON, N.J. — Major League Table Tennis (MLTT), the first professional table tennis league in the United States, is excited to announce that its Season 2 Finals will be held April 12-13 at the Athletic Recreation Center (ARC) on the campus of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. MLTT Championship Weekend will feature two semifinal matches on Saturday, April 12 and the third-place match and Championship match on Sunday, April 13.

The top four teams (current standings) will compete for the prestigious MLTT Cup and a $50,000 purse. Fans eager to witness the live action and support their favorite teams are encouraged to secure their seats early. Tickets will go on sale 11:00am EST Thursday, January 23, and will be available only on the official MLTT website at staging.mltt.com/tickets.

MLTT’s world-class talent will be on full display during an electrifying weekend in the City of Brotherly Love. The league currently boasts over 30 former Olympians across its eight member teams, including 12 players who recently competed in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Eleven MLTT players rank among the top 100 singles players worldwide, including: Lily Zhang (women’s No. 33) of the Bay Area Blasters, a four-time U.S. Olympian, Liam Pitchford (men’s No. 57) and Daniel Gonzalez (men’s No. 85) of the Florida Crocs, Edward Ly (men’s No. 35) of the Carolina Gold Rush, Adi Sareen (men’s No. 50), Debora Vivarelli (women’s No. 96), and Olajide Omotayo (men’s No. 96) of the Seattle Spinners.

With top-tier players and exciting innovations like the Golden Game, MLTT has quickly built a sizable following on social media. In 2024, the league garnered over 15 million views across digital platforms, with subscribers and followers consuming more than 100,000 hours of table tennis content. Additionally, staging.mltt.com and its social media profiles attracted over 8 million unique visitors and impressions during this time.
